- Genetic bases of sterility in interspecific crosses (Oryza sativa x O. glaberrima)
- Interspecific introgressions between cultivated and wild A genome species
- Development of interspecific bridges between Oryza species
- Genome plasticity
- Structural genomics
- Resistance to viruses
- Functional genomics
Additionally, we are projecting to develop research actions of panicle and root architecture in African rice species.
