Résumé
Prior to joining the Wallace Institute, I was a Post-Doctorate Fellow with the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), where I spent two years in the Brazilian Amazon to study alternative to slash-and-burn agriculture in the state of Acre and Rondonia. Our collaborators were ASB and EMBRAPA. My work both national and international attempts to quantify the intricate relationships between agricultural production and environmental quality using Bioeconomic models. I hold a B.S. and M.S. degrees from McGill University in Agricultural Economics with specialization in Natural Resources, and a Ph.D. degree in Agricultural and Environmental Economics from Virginia Polytechnic and State University.
